Well, I was offered the opportunity to review it and it is fabulous! I've written down several of the recipes and now I want to give it to you. I thought I would share one of the fun recipes that I tried with my son last week.
Doesn't it look yummy? It is a Tropical Fruit Pop and here is how you make it...Tropical Fruit Pops
In addition to being delicious, mangos are rich in antioxidants, potassium, and fiber, making them a good heart healthy addition to anyone's meals.
Ingredients:
2 ripe mangos, peeled, pitted, and chopped
1 small ripe banana, quartered
1/2 cup orange juice
In a blender, combine the mangos, banana, and orange juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into 4 frozen-pop molds (or small dixie cups). Freeze for at least 4 hours.
Makes 4
Heart healthy ingredients: 3
Per serving: 102 calories, 2 calories from fat 0 g total fat, 0 g saturated fat, 0 g monounsaturated fat, 0 g polyunsaturated fat, 2 mg cholesterol, 2 mg sodium, 26 g fiber, 19 g sugar, 1 g protein
