Cool Off With Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothies (Review)

Summertime is just plain HOT, but Old Orchard has come out with Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothies to help keep you and your families stay cool. We recently sampled each of their new four flavors: Strawberry Banana, Peach Mango, Banana Colada, and Mixed Berry.

Since I’m not a big smoothie fan I invited over a group of friends to help in the taste testing. The favorites among adults were the Peach Mango and Banana Colada. The children liked the Mixed Berry and Strawberry Banana. One member (of the 9 of us) thought the banana flavor was not a natural tasting flavor. Overall, we managed to drink 96 ounces of smoothies with no problem, so I would rate them as a hit.
Talk about being easy…to make these all you do is empty the frozen juice into a blender and add water and ice. Each container makes 3 - 8 oz. servings. They are all natural and are dairy and gluten free with 100% DV Vitamin C (with at least ½ cup of fruit in each serving).

The website also features various recipes such as:

Island Paradise Smoothie
1 can Peach Mango Chiquita Smoothie
4 oz. cream of coconut
6 oz. whipped cream
2 cans ice

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth!

I would love for you to try this so visit their website for a $1 off any two Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothies. You can search the site for the store closest to you that carries your favorite flavors. Also, if you send in 10 proofs of purchase you can get a free Chiquita Smoothie t-shirt. While you are there don’t forget to sign up for the trip for four to Jamaica in the “Tropical Smooth-stakes” promotion.

Disclosure: I was sent product for this review, but as always it did not influence my opinion.
