Congratulations Linda Kish!
I recently received some mirra products courtesy of The Kroger Company for review and giveaway as a part of the Global Influence Network. If you haven't heard of the brand it might be because they are relatively new to the health & beauty market. Their product line includes cosmetic brushes, cleansers and cleansing cloths, eye firming and age defying creams, facial and skin care lotions, hair styling products, shampoos and conditioners, and body washes and mists.
mirra boasts all natural ingredients such as aloe leaf juice, olive oil, honey, and others. I found the Renew body wash to be gentle on my skin and the scent was very light and inviting with a hint of honey. Water alone dries my skin and the body washes I use have to be just right not to make it worse. mirra Renew Body Wash lived up to the test.
The facial creams I received were also from the Renew line. I used the Day Cream religiously for the past 2 weeks and I used the eye cream every other day. The mirra Renew day cream had a scent that I loved. Every time I applied it I thought of my Gramma. I know that sounds weird, but it is a very good thing. My grandmother had the softest skin and she always looked younger than she actually was. I did not notice any physical differences using the eye cream, but when applied you knew something was happening because it has a slight tingling feeling. Note: The day cream should be applied lightly - a little dab will do ya' for the day.
I did not try the Night Cream, although I did receive it. I have sleep apnea and I cannot put any lotions on my face at night as they are not good for the mask I have to wear. I think I'll give it to my sister-in-law to see if she likes it.
I used the body lotion and it did not have a greasy thick feeling like most lotions. Again, the scent was very discrete, but it smelled nice - like honey. I did some traveling last week to CA and the airplane usually dries my skin out even more than usual. However, I lathered on mirra Renew body lotion and had no problems.
I would say overall the product line works great and the fact that they use all natural ingredients is a huge bonus to me. I'm curious as to what you think. Wanna try it? Thanks to Kroger I am able to offer one reader a mirra kit of products similar to those I tested. Actual sample sizes and products may vary.
